This Sunday, Saturday Night Live comedian Jason Sudeikis will host the annual MTV Movie Awards. Fans can go online and vote for their favorite actors, movies, or scenes, at mtv.com, in categories such as best female or male performance, best movie, best villain, best kiss, etc.
The biggest award of the night is undoubtedly the Generation Award, given to an actor for their successful career in film, defined by their ability to portray a variety of characters and work in a number of genres. Past recipients include Jim Carey, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Mike Meyers, Tom Cruise and Sandra Bullock. Another woman is added to the long list of top-notch actor’s- MTV has chosen Reese Witherspoon as this year’s recipient.
I love Reese Witherspoon so naturally, I love this selection.
For all you diehard Twilight fans, the MTV Movie Awards will feature never before seen footage from Breaking Dawn Part 1.
Steve Carell, Blake Lively, Patrick Dempsey, Ryan Reynolds, Cameron Diaz, and Nicki Minaj are just a few confirmed celebrities who will be in attendance.
