New York Shooting Caught On Tape

So the word is that the streets are getting even more unsafe. Recently there was a shooting that took place in Brooklyn New York and in broad day light. That shows that criminals are less worried about the consequence of whats they do and makes people unpredictable of what crimes they will commit. SMH the world has to get better.

"Tyquan Sewall, an 18-year-old from Brooklyn, New York is lucky to still be alive after an argument led to a gunman unloading a 32-caliber Smith & Wesson in front of a McDonald's restaurant in Flatbush where police surveillance cameras caught the footage. I have personally frequented this spot many times, and it was always heavily populated with students from the neighboring Brooklyn College and public schools in the area.
This footage shows the attempted murderers passing the gun between them and setting up Sewall who must have been coming to the fast food restaurant ready for a fight. He got a surprise when the first shot grazed him and he fell into the street.
The assailant tried to finish him off as Sewall rolled into oncoming traffic. He is now in Kings County hospital in critical condition. The gun was dropped off as the shooters made their way out of the other side of the Mickey D's. Sewall, who lives blocks away from the shooting, has a criminal record and no witnesses have come forth so far."(http://hiphopwired.com/2011/09/30/brooklyn-teen-shot-in-front-of-mcdonalds-on-surveillance-camera-video/)

People really need to start standing up for whats right and stop letting criminals walk the streets like everything is ok.

Wacka Does Good & Wrong At The Same Time?

So the word is that during rapper Waka Flocka's charity bowling event, things go a little haywire. It is said that Waka felt the need to protect himself from a hostile individual, So he fought the gentlemen in the mist of his own bowling charity event.
SMH First its all bad that anyone would start anything at a charity event and then that a celebrity was involved fighting someone who is like Evelyn (Basketball Wives) would say is a non-Mofo factor. I feel bad that this happen during his event.
"According to Waka’s PR team…To be clear, while taking one of many photos with a fans during the evening, an artist who had previously been under his helm approached him with malice, words were said and our client was forced to defend himself. The aftermath, though dramatic, left no one seriously injured and saw the majority of the crowd dispersed without incident.
After working with security to ensure that all parties had safely departed the property, (Ludacris’ mom) noted that when the craziness began, she asked security “if there was a gun”. When they assured her that there were no weapons involved. She instructed her team to keep on playing and let the security do their jobs.”(http://bossip.com/467060/a-lil-positivity-gone-bad-waka-flocka-host-successful-charity-bowling-event-then-catches-fade-with-random-rapper12006/)

Somya Reece On "Love & Hip-Hop 2"

So the word is that model/rapper Somya Reece from VH1's "Love & Hip-Hop"'s Somya Reece is ready for the new season of the show, so that she can be presented in a new way. I am excited to what's going to happen on this season of the show because last season I did not miss an episode. The new season is due in november and expecting new castmembers. Somya is ready for everyone to feel her movie and her talent.
"It feels good [to return"], because the first season, it seemed like it was an attack against [me]. It was supposed to be more about my music, but it ended up showing more of my personal side as far as me moving to New York from L.A. I chose to live the way I did in New York.
I have a home in Los Angeles, and I'm well of it L.A. They thought it was funny. It was challenging, but I'm up for the challenge. I always tried to reach out to the girls, because they didn't understand me or my story. I was doing a lot of things during season 1, but they didn't show it. They didn't show my Lionsgate film, my tequila [brand] and clothing line. Hopefully, they'll show it this time around."(http://hiphopwired.com/2011/09/30/somaya-reece-talks-love-hip-hop-2-gives-advice-to-julez-santanas-girlfriend/)

PARIS FW - Maison Martin Margiela

(Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2012)

He did it again.  Martin Margiela never cease to amaze me with his creativity.  This time, although inspirational and avant-gardism, I find the collection as a whole much more commercial (which is a good thing).  Every piece is both edgy and sexy.  And the use of leather on the jackets and maxi skirts just make it that much easier for us to give in...ah hum...butter coloured deconstructed vest for example...ah hum!

The Rolling Stones' 1972 American Tour

The Rolling Stones embarked on their 1972 American tour to support the release of Exile on Main Street– which in and of itself was a push into new territory for the band, both musically and commercially. What followed rewrote the game for The Stones and the music industry, and basically set the stage for a decade of big, balls-out tours that went from being simple promotional vehicles the pop culture events. Nothing like this had been done in Rock ‘n’ Roll prior and all subsequent tours would follow the ’72 tour blueprint for scale, attempted musicality, logistics, legal entanglements, drugs, women, hilarity, hangers-on, and general debauchery.
