Top 7 Precious Liquor Around The World

1. Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Blanc de Blanc :

The most expensive champagne in the world is Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Blanc de Blanc, made of specially selected grapes, sold in manually painted bottles and with a price tag of around $1,500.

Touted to be the world’s most expensive champagne, it would be breaking records at $6,485 for a tailored bottle of bubbly that would be available for sale on 20 March. Eyeing “super-rich” elite across globally, this limited edition 12-bottle box sets of Perrier-Jouet champagne is valued at 50,000 Euros, as stated by French drink company Pernod-Ricard. It is being said that sales will be restricted to a “population of super-rich” customers located in the U.S., Britain, Japan, China, Russia, Switzerland and France.

Company is hopeful to sell off box-sets to across 100 people globally. It is an alliance of sugar and wines collected ages back. The liqueur is used to add a definitive touch on bottles of Perrier-Jouet’s 2000 Belle Epoque champagne. Along with the bottles, customers would be offered a storage nest in Perrier-Jouet’s vault that will hold the bottles for coming eight months. It would surely break the record set by limited edition of Dom Perignon champagne in 2005 that got sold off for 12,000 Euros per three-litre bottle.

2. Macallan Fine Rare Vintage :

The most expensive whisky in the world is considered to be the Macallan Fine Rare Vintage. With only 85 bottles being released world-wide, tasting this 30 year old is a rare treat. Price for a single bottle? $38,000!

However, this whisky was never found in those old western saloons. The most expensive whisky is a 1926 bottle from the Macallan Fine and Rare Collection. The $38,000 Scotch whisky you may not be able to buy today since they are all sold; you can still enjoy a dram for only $3,300 if you visit the Old Homestead Steakhouse in the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J.

3. Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum :

Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum is merely the top-selling high strength rum in the world, bottled in 1940. Only four bottles are left from this precious liquor, each being estimated at $53,000.

Overproof rum is perhaps the worst thing for you to drink. But don't let that stop you and trying it out. This is a crazy drink! This is one of the strongest drinks in existence! Wild things are bound to happen after consumption, with one of the worst hangovers imaginable coming up the day after downing half a bottle or so...

Overproof rum is supposed to be pure alcohol before opening the bottle. Some stories tell of how the last drops of water are removed in the process of bottling. However, there's no doubting that alcohol is in abundance, and overproof rum will rank among the strongest alcoholic beverages you will ever drink. Being pretty tasteless as well, it's not at all that bad to drink. But the blast coming up after a sip or two or three is awesome. The overproof rum was probably not meant for man to experience...

4. Diamonds-Are-Forever :

The most expensive cocktail in the world, “Diamonds-Are-Forever”, has no special ingredients like we had so far. The only excuse for wearing the €11,000 price tag is that the olive is replaced by a 1.6 carat diamond. To be found in the hotel Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo.

Since the days of Prohibition, when barkeeps invented mixed drinks in an effort to disguise the taste of their rotgut with fruit syrups, cocktails have exuded an air of illicit festivity. Beer is fine, and whiskey's quicker, but a cocktail — with its goofy garnishes and splendid colors — is merriment in a tumbler.

5. Samuel Adams' Utopias:

This beer is brewed by the Boston Beer Company, using the brand name of Samuel Adam's Utopias, named after one of the founding fathers of the USA. This comes second in the list of the world's most expensive beer which costs around $100 per bottle (24 oz) or about $67 per pint, sold in copper bottles resembling the copper brewing kettles which are used by brewers for hundreds of years.

The alcohol content is 25%, making it the strongest beer in the world (listed in the Guinness Book of Records). The process of making this beverage can take up to 12 years, giving it the unique and rich flavors. It is said that the production was limited to 8,000 bottles per year.

6. Diva Vodka :

The most expensive drinks list will eventually come to dovka. Diva Vodka, produced by the Blackwood Distillery in Scotland is the world’s most expensive vodka. Depending on your choice of “crystal decoration” the price of a single varies from £35 to a staggering £540,000!Diva Premium Vodka is a perfect tribute to all beautiful divas. Vodka is meant to make you feel relaxed, unconscious by departing you from your material tensions and taking you to a world of pixies. Alright, but spending $1 million to do away with the gloominess of life is raising eyebrows.

Here is a seemingly good justification. It must be for those who are going through the actually tough-time of life that the very thought of living becomes a secondary issue for them. Got confused! I am just kidding. There are interested people who would love to spend $1million on a single bottle of vodka.

7. Kona Nigari water :

Kona Nigari water, takes the title for the world’s most expensive water. The desalinated water high in minerals from the deep seas off Hawaii, costs $16.75 per ounce. The bottled water is actually a “concentrate” meant to add to regular water.

Top 10 Most Worst College Degrees

David Beckham Studies ( Staffordshire University, UK ) : It might sound like a joke, but the squeaky-voiced soccer star actually has a degree course dedicated to him. The course, which is technically classed as “Football Culture”, has been defended by its founder, who argues that degree courses must keep with the times. Celeb-style degrees can also be found in the US, with Madonna studies injected into the Gender course at Harvard (no less) and Oprah Winfrey studies at Illinois.

Parapsychology Studies : This degree is perfect for starting a career with Ghostbusters. Oh wait, Ghostbusters are fictional – that’s four years wasted. Nevertheless, this course dedicated to the study of the paranormal (Slimer and haunted houses included) is popping up in universities and colleges worldwide. Coventry, Edinburgh, Northampton and Liverpool in the UK, plus Belford and Flamel in the US all offer the course, which makes you wonder if people are watching too many Most Haunted episodes.

Doctorate Of Philosophy In Ufology ( Melbourne University ) : In August this year, Aussie Martin Plowman became the first student to become a real Dr Who after passing his studies of unidentified flying objects. After his major in culture and communications, he decided he wanted to do something a bit different, so he chose little green men. However, despite his new status, he remains open-minded about things: “When I meet someone who says they’ve seen something strange, that’s fair enough, because maybe they have. I don’t know what it is, though,”

The Phallus ( Occidental College ) : It’s difficult to get to grips with the exact nature of this course – if you’ll pardon the pun. It’s cited as studies “between the phallus and the penis, the meaning of the phallus, phallologocentrism, the lesbian phallus, the Jewish phallus, the Latino phallus, and the relation of the phallus and fetishism” but is actually a survey offered by this distinguished college’s department of critical theory and social justice.

Surfing Studies ( Melbourne ) : Gone are the days of dumb surfer dudes riding the waves without a care. Now, surfing means business. With Plymouth Uni in the UK offering a BSc (Hons) in Surf Science and Technology and Southern Cross University in Australia offering Surf and Sport Management, is seems the seaside slackers want to be taken seriously. What next? Wrestling degrees?

Philosophy ( various colleges ) : Philosophy, like sociology and psychology, is one of those degrees that people do when they’re not quite sure what vocation they want to follow . It’s a fun-time four years, open to stoners, egocentrics and those that love the sound of their own voice, who will finish the course even more confused at what they want to do in life and probably end up working at a convenience store.

Queer Musicology ( UCLA ) : Due to seemingly popular demand, the UCLA have actually combined queer theory – the study of gender, feminism and gayness – with the science of music, to produce a very open-minded course within their Herb Alpert School of Music. The LA Times reported that the course will introduce debates like: “the idea that if you’re gay, then music by gay composers such as Benjamin Britten will sound different to you than it would if you were straight.”

Star Trek ( Georgetown University in Washington ) : It’s a degree, Jim, but not as we know it. The Georgetown faculty of Philosophy argues that “Star Trek is very philosophical. What better way, then, to learn philosophy, than to watch Star Trek, read philosophy, and hash it all out in class?” The Trekkies have also landed at Indiana University, who curiously combine their Star Trek Studies with religion. If only there were more vacancies for professional dorks…

Golf Management ( University of Birmingham ) : Another useless sport degree spreading through Universities across the world, but this one lands the number three position because it’s not even fun. There’s nothing much duller than playing golf apart from studying golf, so why these two Universities have offered courses covering the psychology of golf; equipment technology; financial performance and coach education, is a mystery.

Art History ( various colleges ) : What career would you ever get with a degree in art history? Maybe an art gallery curator, but how many of those does the world actually need? Most art history courses consist of a selection of well-to-do teenagers and arty-hippy types deliberating over the same Dali and Magritte paintings for four, even five years straight. It’s time to move on!

World's Most Scary Prison

Atlanta Federal Penitentiary, is a medium-security prison for men in Atlanta, Georgia. For many years it has been a notorious part of the U.S. federal prison system. It also has a detention center for pre-trial and holdover inmates and a camp for minimum security male inmates. It was primarily used as a detention center for Cuban refugees from the Mariel Boatlift who were ineligible for release into American society. The prison is located in southeast Atlanta at the junction of Boulevard and McDonough Boulevard. Its population as of July 6, 2006 is 1909 in the penitentiary and 554 in the camp.

There's an abandoned prison farm in SE Atlanta, hidden in the woods and completely covered by kudzu.

Buildings are so overgrown that they are deeply hidden in trees.
According to Atlanta's "History of the Dept of Corrections" page, the prison farm was operated from 1945 to 1995.

There are rumors of the 290 acres being converted into a park soon. Increased patrols are also occurring so don't park next to the road.
