I think I need to reassess my "girl crush" of this month and put Sarah Burton on top of my list. One after another, a single row of mystical goddesses walk through wearing lace and leather headmask. The lace, the beading, the paillettes, the laser cut leather, the layers and layers of tulle...is this really RTW or couture week?
True to McQueen's sprit, the whole collection did not feel short of some sort of disturbing beauty, which is way more interesting than classical beauty. Sarah, in my opinion, you're the real goddess!
