Dell'Acqua said his inspiration was bourgeois Milanese women in the 1960's, which to me seems almost like an Italian version of preppy. I love how there is a mix of boyish cut shirts and feminine pencil skits. We are also seeing a lot of cropped knits and top matched with fully button-up shirts. And his accessory of choice? A oversize leather clochette pendant which are usually found attached to luggage or handbags...hum...I wonder if I have one of those around to use as a pendant too?
