How the Beckham's Decided to Release Pictures of Harper Seven:

Both Victoria and David Beckham have been making it very easy for the world to see pictures of their daughter, Harper Seven, by posting pictures on Twitter.

So what's the normal etiquette for celebrity baby shots, you ask?

Well, some celebs or socialites will initially hide their baby from the paps and later sell exclusive first looks to big magazines like People or Us, usually donating the funds to charity. Other's will desperately try to hide their children until a shot is eventually captured, sold for millions, and released to the public.

Here's the problem I envision:

Hiding your child from the Paparazzi is like protecting them from a predator, I get it. It's instinct to cover their faces because you do not want them exploited and exposed. The issue is that the Paparazi DO NOT give up, you know this if you're a celebrity, don't you? So you're setting yourself up for endless hours, months, years of hounding until someone finally gets the first shot (and likely, even after that).

If you decide to cooperate with a magazine and sell the coveted photos, you will still be hounded by the Paparazi until the pictures are published. Also, you (or your PR) will be bombarded with different offers from the media until you select your forum.

Here's why the Beckham's are making this so easy for us. They know their celebrity status is huge and they know that every single magazine and media outlet is going to be harassing them for the first shot. So, why not take away all that curiosity and post the pictures on Twitter? They let their fans feel as though they are seeing something personal and exclusive. Also, it might just make the next few public outings a little more tolerable, no?

The Beckham's still might sell pictures for charity and like before the baby, they will still be followed by the paparazzi, but I think they thnk this move will make their lives just a little bit easier.

Here are some of the most recent pictures of Harper Seven:

David Tweeted this picture on Sunday with the caption: "I took this picture of my two girls sleeping"

Victoria also Tweeted on Sunday with the caption "Daddy's little girl".

This is completely off topic but aren't you excited to see how Victoria Beckham, an icon in fashion, is going to dress her daughter?
