Emma Stone walked the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City for the second night in a row last night, this time for the premiere of her upcoming film Crazy, Stupid, Love. Stone stars in the dramatic comedy that features a star studded cast including, Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, Maris Tomei, Kevin Bacon, and Julianne Moore.
Emma Stone was once again best dressed of the night, but I wasn't overly thrilled with her decision to wear a structured black lace dress by Tom Ford. Don't get me wrong, she looks phenomenal, but a LBD the night after she wow's us with that Giambattista Valli outfit. What do you expect me to do, not compare the two?
And since I am obviously going to compare the two, the Giambattista Valli color block combo wins.
Here's my advice, always lead with the simple/classic number at the first event. Had Emma worn the Tom Ford to the premiere of Friends With Benefits, I'd be raving about how her looks keep getting better and bolder. Since she led with a vibrant, risque piece, I'm bound to compare the two and ultimately be dissapointed with the LBD.
Or maybe the Rosie Huntington-Whitely promo tour curse lives on and I'm still comparing everyone's fashion choices to hers?
