(Chanel Couture Fall 2011)
It seems that Karl was inspired by mystery movies set in the 40's. The mood was dark, literally as the show only started at 10pm when everyone should be at parties celebrating Couture Week! And with black sheer masks, the models seems more like villain heroines than demure mademoiselles in their Chanel couture. I love the darkness, so much more complex and interesting than plain pretty!
