(Azzedine Alaïa Couture Fall 2011)
My profond obsession for Alaïa started a few years back when Mary-Kate Olsen wore an Alaïa lace effect leather corset belt over a floor-sweeping ostrich feather dress. I have then acquired a pair of grey lizzard ankle boots and on the hunt for another. Needless to say, I've also dreamt of owning one of his infamous knit dress and coat. His cuts are meant to celebrate our curves by accentuating the waistline and emphasizing the hips (perfect for my pear-shape body)!
It should therefore be no surprise that I was overjoyed when Alaïa returned to Couture Week. The dove grey fur coat looks divine; how it would fit perfectly in my closet!
