They will co-star in the new drama-comedy Hart of Dixie!
I have been waiting patiently for Rachel Bilson to make her way back to television since The O.C. I have also been waiting patiently for Scott Porter to tackle a new role ever since we encountered him and his heartbreaking character, Jason Street, on Friday Night Lights.
The wait is over!
This fall, Bilson will star in Hart of Dixie as a New York doctor who inherits a practice in Alabama. After the big move, Bilson quickly gets acquainted with the quirky locals and must adjust. Basically, the series will tackle a big city girl trying to cope with small town living. I’m not thrilled with the plot yet, but I’ll take what I can get.
The dramedy will air Monday nights at 10 pm following Gossip Girl on the CW. The cast includes Jaime King (My Generation), Wilson Bethel (Generation Kill), Cress Williams (Friday Night Light’s, Grey’s Anatomy), and Scott Porter (The Good Wife, Friday Night Lights).
