Earlier this week, Oprah has been spotted at The United Centre in Chicago filming her two-part finale titled Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular set to air on May 23rd and 24th.
After 25 seasons, the queen of talk shows has decided to call it quits. She leaves behind a legacy of tackling hard topics and creating awareness about social inequities through her philanthropic work.
For anyone who watches Oprah regularly, you know that she is extravagant and often spoils her audience members with gifts. Every Christmas I watch with envy as she holds her annual episode, Oprah’s Favorite Things, spending an entire hour giving the studio audience things that the glamorous celebrity loves.
This past Christmas, each audience member received over 44 gifts, which included an iPad, limited edition UGG boots, a Coach purse, diamond earrings (valued at $1900), a Nikon camera (valued at $700), a Sony HDTV with 3D (valued at $3,600), and a 2012 Volkswagen Beetle!
You know and I both know that this finale is going to be HUGE!
So far, it’s been confirmed that Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, Queen Latifah, Madonna, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Maria Shriver, and Beyonce have all made appearances during filming of the final show.
