Jennifer Aniston’s dog Norman died a few weeks ago at the age of 15. For those of you who don’t understand ‘weird’ pet owners and how emotional they get with the loss of a pet, this article isn’t for you.
I have a dog, his name is Cuma. He is a black miniature poodle who is 5. I’ve never had a pet die before. Well, that’s a lie. Like most kids, I went through hamsters and goldfish, which all had a relatively short lifespan. I was around ten I think when my first hamster died and even then I cried and had a ‘proper’ burial for him.
I can’t imagine losing Cuma, I don’t want to. Unlike my hamster, I have bonded closely with my dog. We’ve taken long walks, he sleeps at the edge of bed night after night, he barks at strangers approaching me (in a protective way), and he always greets me at the door when I come home at night. He is one of the most loyal things in my life and I can say that he makes my day a bit warmer.
Back to Jennifer Aniston! Tabloids have reported that the date her publicist chose to announce the death of her dog was strategically planned to take attention away from her famous ex-husband, Brad Pitt’s movie premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France this past Monday. Apparently, people in France would be so distraught by this news it would somehow affect Brad's big night...oh please!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve had as much I can take about the Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston gossip. It actually infuriates me when I see a magazine cover dedicated to this supposed, never-ending feud. Tabloids, it’s time to move on. Brad and Angelina have bigger fish to fry, they have six kids together! As for Jennifer, she just lost her dog. I doubt there is any evil conspiracy behind this news, so let’s let this one go.
I love the entertainment world, I love music, movies, fashion, the red carpet, you name it. What I don’t love is when you read something that you know is so far from fact that you have to wonder, who comes up with this stuff?
