The cast of the hit TV comedy Glee has revealed that the May 17th episode titled Funeral will definitely reveal the death of one of the characters. Before you have a minor meltdown, the main characters are all safe! They were spotted last week in New York City filming the episode where they traveled to compete in nationals. So the question is, who is going to die?
My predictions? I think it will be Karofsky. He’s been the tortured teenager struggling with his sexuality for a while now and his storyline doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. He can either continue bullying Kurt or come out and eventually be with Kurt? Only Kurt has a boyfriend… Blaine. Perhaps he will be the one to get the axe to make way for a Karofsky and Kurt romance down the road?
That’s my prediction: Karofsky or Blaine.
Jenna Ushkowitz who plays Tina Cohen-Chang reveals how her and the cast were deeply affected by the death. She tells hollywoodlife.com: “You know it was really, really sad. Any kind of death is sad and it brings you back to a place you don't really want to go. So it kind of affects everybody. It was really hard but the episode is done really, really well."
The fact that the cast was ‘deeply affected’ makes me think the mysterious death could be Kurt’s dad, Burt, who suffered from a heart attack earlier this season. Let’s add Burt to the prediction list as well.
