Charlie’s Angels Sneak Peek:

ABC has decided to launch a remake of the 1970’ television series and 2000 movie by the same name: Charlie’s Angels.  The first remake starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu was successful, earning $264, 105.545 worldwide. It seems as though audiences like the idea of attractive women fighting crime in high heels and tight dresses, which makes me think this revamped series will also do well.

The series, set to air on ABC this fall, stars Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights, The Roommate), Rachael Taylor (Transformers), and Annie Ilonzeh (General Hospital). Here is the official synopsis released by ABC:

“Everyone deserves a second chance -- even a thief, a street racer and a cop who got in a little too deep. After all, the three women who solve cases for their elusive boss, Charlie Townsend, are no saints. They're angels... Charlie's Angels”.
