From right to left- Bella, Suri and Katie
Katie Holmes has a new apprentice, stepdaughter Bella Cruise. You’re probably thinking apprentice for what? Well, Holmes recently created a fashion label, Holmes and Yang, which debuted at Barney’s in New York City. The actress describes the line to the New York Times as “made for real people, mixed with Diane Keaton”. Personally, I find most of the pieces from the line kind of safe or suited for a more mature woman.
So why would Bella, who is only 18, choose to work for a fashion label that is targeted for women well over her age group? It’s not like this is her only link to the fashion world, her mother is Nicole Kidman after all! My advice to Bella, ask your celebrity parents to find you a more age appropriate internship. Think of how much fun it would be to work with clothing you might actually wear and could envision women your age wearing.
