The 2011 Cannes Film Festival has come to an end this weekend. The closing ceremonies took place at the Palais des Festivals on May 22nd. Awards were distributed in several categories including besting acting for both male and female and best film.
Here are my top 2 fashion picks from the closing ceremonies.

Kirsten Dunst in Chanel:
The actress accepted the Prix de l’Interpretation Feminine award (best female) for her role in Melancholia last night in a Chanel Couture gown. The nude embellished dress features a feathery skirt that adds to the overall ethereal vibe.
I would have chosen to pair the dress with a nude or silver heel instead of the black strappy heels. The shoes ruin the look, but the dress is phenomenal.

Uma Thurman in Armani Prive:
Uma attended the closing ceremonies last night in an electric blue Armani Prive gown. I love that the juror consistently chose form-fitting gowns this year. This one is my favorite. The rhinestone embellishment around the hemline, the neckline and the back adds the right amount of sparkle.
For the first time this festival, Uma wore heels!
