I spent my Women's Day in a really sexy and unique way! Yesterday was the photo shoot I've been telling everyone about and boy did I have fun. I was very very shy in the beginning, but after two bottles of champagne and loads of pep-talking from Robert, I loosened up. I definitely take my hat off to models who do this everyday, because posing is really hard work. I was taught how every move and pose has to be exaggerated - pushing out my ass and squeezing it tight, standing on my toes, pulling in my stomach, relaxing my shoulders and trying to look gorgeous - while balancing on a wooden block wearing high heels. As soon as I felt uncomfortable, that's when I knew I was doing the right pose!
I have done a few photo shoots in my life, but this one tops them all. By far! It started off with me wearing a playboy bunny suit, which just about covered the bits. Those were for the NoMU poster. Then we switched over to some lingerie shots and by then I was completely comfortable.
Robert Miller took really great care of me and, as always, his photos came out great! My make-up was done by Diane Bessesen and the stylist was Zelda Minnaar. Great ladies and so much fun to work with. Diane did such a great job with my hair and make-up, and I'm usually extremely fussy about this. Zelda made sure I looked great, helped me get dressed, fixed my hair when needed, wrapped me in a blanket during breaks and even topped up my champagne!
Here are some behind-the-scenes pictures...
It was such a great experience and I really wish I get to do this more often! Really!! Visit my blog again real soon to see the lingerie shots. I've received two photos so far and I absolutely LOVE it. I can't wait to share it with you.

Diane (make-up artist) and Zelda (stylist) Robert showing me some of the pictures. Judging by his body language, he seemed pleased. Yup, we're definitely pleased! I found this hat in the dressing room. And that's NOT a slanket I'm wearing! Diane packing up her gear! Hard at work! The final result! |
